Went to Dr. Beatty for the first time and I must say, it was a very pleasant experience. Its always weird when you go to get you vagina looked at but she was very personable, made me feel welcomed and at ease (since this was my 1st time going to her), and very informative. She took her time and we even shared a few laughs. The staff was great as well! The Med Assistant, Tiara, was kind and knowledgeable and she needs a raise. Overall, I had a great experience. Dr Beatty was not my cup of tea. I did see her one time prior to pregnancy and the vibe was completely different that day. I even spoke to her about my concerns regarding myself before getting pregnant and she gave me a list of options and things we could do once I was pregnant. Once I got pregnant, she back tracked on all of these things. She also was very rough when using the Doppler, my other doctor has not been near as rough as she was. I’m not even sure this person is qualified to practice medicine when they can’t even figure out basic scheduling. Customer service is absolutely horrendous as well
Very bad experience and judging from the other reviews it seems to be common. My first appointment with her and I could hear her talking about me outside of the door. She did not knock, smile or seem interested at all when she walked in. She seemed rather annoyed that I was there. I also felt as if I couldn’t trust her knowledge. Saw another reviewer saying they wanted to cry walking out and I felt the same way. I had questions I wanted to ask but did not feel comfortable asking them.
Is there a 0 star? My sister is having a preeclampsia after giving birth, was never told that she had a high blood pressure during pregnancy which led to preeclampsia. She didn’t feel right during pregnancy, she sent her doctor multiple notes regarding that, but most of the time no response, or just to say “it’s normal” Clearly it wasn’t, her feet and legs are swollen, went back to the hospital two days after she was released from giving birth to get sent home again.
