I had a very non sterile experience here getting a stent removed. I was given a towel that had been previously thrown on a waiting chair to clean myself off with, there was numbing fluid left on the floor after the nurse “wiped it up”, after the doctor removed the stent, he disposed of it by throwing it “in the trash” but it didn’t make it fully in and was just sitting on the top of the trash bin’s small round opening.
