One of the worst experiences I've had with a medical professional. I inquired about alternative medications for an issue as the current ones I had were not providing relief and it was causing significat issues. Not only did she refuse to ask me questions, she prescribed me the same medication. While I was there I asked if she would sign a form for work (wellness screening) a simple signature and she made it sound like it was beneath her and she had absolutely no time to do so. Don't choose Dr. Castillo as your PCP unless you want to be charged for unnecessary visits. She takes advantage if you have good insurance. Last October, the clinic randomly called me one day asking me to come in for a quick blood-pressure check. They confirmed with me twice, over the phone and in person, that I would NOT be charged for this visit as they were the ones requesting it. They called me at 4:55 PM yesterday, I called backed at 5 and it’s already after hours so they don’t answer. Why called 5 min before closing when they had ALL DAY TO CALL. Google says they close at 5 PM on Fridays. So, I called backed today at 2 PM and I was automatically sent to their machine saying that I was calling “after hours”. Lack of communication and professionalism. Update your times and don’t call patients 5 min before your office is close!
