I have been bringing my cats here since I moved to Chester and am so impressed by the care that my pets receive there. It's a very welcoming environment both for me and for my cat; he even gets a catnip toy when he arrives. Dr. Bernie has a wonderful way with animals; she is gentle and moves slowly with them. We have had nothing but expert care and advise for our senior dog who needed acupuncture & chiropractic care, while also advising on a chronic medical issue holistically which our regular vet could not give us information. Chinese & Laser treatment also available. This is a serious veterinary office, and not a dog spa which I first thought by the name & this pic of the building is old, it is now completely remodeled inside & and out.
This place maybe be OK as long as your pet does not require any actual care, just routine check-ups and vaccinations. If you need anything else DO NOT COME HERE!! My dog has been fighting an ear infection for the past 5 months; the doctor here keep giving her various antibiotics, none of them which worked. We finally got fed up and went directly to Pieper Memorial Hospital where the doctors where shocked by the condition of the dog's ear and wondered why the veterinarian at Adorable Pets did not refer her out or at least do ... read more
I have always heard people talk about their favorite vets that had retired, but had never found my own. I have never had a problem with a vet, just never found that special one. I can say now, after visiting Adorable Pets, that I have found that. I have never visited a vet that was so friendly, happy, and inviting. The entire staff was the same way. Dr. Bernie and her staff are simply wonderful. Sadly, we had to Euthanize our beloved cat, Pickles, on 11/4/13. Dr. Bernie and staff made a House Call to perform the procedure, which was so much more peaceful for Pickles and my family to have this done at home. They were so kind, compassionate and we thank them so much for offering this service.
Dr. Bernie is great with our pets! She explains everything that is going on with our pets and then offers us several affordable options like wellness plans, laser therapy, acupuncture, chinese herbs, and house call visits at convenient times. She really cares about our family and our pets. She considers all of her clients and patients as her close friends.
