I’m only giving them two stars because Dr. Chandra provided me with excellent mental health treatment. Unfortunately, my experiences with Maggie Ackerman and Beth (I can’t recall her last name) were overwhelmingly negative. As other reviewers have noted, Maggie would go on explosive verbal tirades if you triggered her temper. Sometimes just for expressing personal distress! Saw akerman for a while there. Staff up front is nice. When I went there one day to talk about worsening anxiety problems and maybe have some medication adjustments I was chewed out and told I need to go to see a therapist (which I tried and didn't work). Also made fun of me for Using antidepressants and anti anxiety drugs to cope and all the lady did was tear me down till she finally said she'd give me a new medicine meant for anxiety then lied about it and never called it in. They failed to treat my adult ADHD. Dr. Chandra was rude and said because I have a temper I'm bipolar! Not true. He further said I failed to qualify to be a new psyche patient according to federal guidelines and gave me a paper and sent me home! What a way to rip off the poor state! I came here because they accept medicaid. He also said I was not working or a student so this was discrimination because my id is even classified as disabled! What a joke! My girlfriend won't go here either. These doctors are bad like in Marion. ... read more
Clean and comfortable with Television in waiting area.My experience has usually been with friendly Staff and Physicians.
