I don’t understand how this Dr. has positive reviews in other platforms. Dr. Adnan and his scheduler were condescending and not detailed. He spent less than 5 min with me on my first and only appointment. I am glad I found my current Oncologist in Orlando Health, what a difference! My new Dr spent over 45 min with me and did not try to order unnecessary, uncovered tests.
Dr Akhtar saved my life. He absolutely cares about his patients. And his staff is always so helpful and carrying.
This is the worst dr. He shouldn't even be called that. He never shows up to the hospital when his patients end up in the er he always send his associates. He missed a few of my father's appointments even though he said he wanted to see him urgently. He changes the chemo medicine the day right before scheduled chemotherapy treatment causing a mess with the insurance companies and as a result canceling the chemo appointment. His staff also never called my mother to schedule my father's chemotherapy for 6 weeks! And as a resul... read more
Very unreliable and doesn't care about his patients or helping prolong their lives. If you need a cancer doctor DO NOT go to this doctor!!!!!
Horrible doctor and an even worse experience. The way he switches chemo medicine at the last minute and his staff will not communicate with you about it. With all the other reviews, I guess he picks and chooses how he wants to deal with you. He NEVER shows up to any hospital visits for the patient. Even other doctors at the hospital say he is horrible. That's gotta say something! My father has been going to him for almost a year and this doctor just gets worse by the minute.
