Prices better than most, but sources and therefore quality unknown. Also, I read a lot of the warnings in other reviews and ignored them. I shouldn't have. Website showed a product as in stock and I ordered 5 bars. Eventually I'm told it's not actually in stock, they deliberately mislead buyers with website inventory mismanagement. Lucky me though, I can pay more for thicker material that costs me more time and labor to work down, but even after paying, they sat on the order until I had to threaten to contact my bank to file... read more
I read several of the reviews. Then I decided to place an order for knife steel. I ordered on 3/15, and received confirmation of the order on 3/16. The confirmation of the order stated date of need as 3/26. This is consistent with Admiral's stated policy on lead times for new orders. Steel was shipped on 3/26, and packaged well. Steel has the name printed on the surface, same as ordered, thank you.
Worst place ever
Their shipping department is unrivaled. Packaged to perfection and quality all the way. We have never had any problems with this company. Their quotes are good for way longer than anyone else I've worked with, their sales department is so very nice too! Customer for life.
