Had a biopsy done by Mr. Atler to see if I had temporal arteritis. It's been two years now and my left side of face has not return to normal. As you age you have to know when to quit surgery.

I really like this office. I’ve had three different medical staff all very nice and I think the world of Dr. Adler. They have all helped me with my eye issues and I’m grateful. They seen me at a moment’s notice and have gone out of their way to help.

I see there is no shortage of others commenting on rude staff. I unfortunately didn’t even have the chance to see Dr. Adler, which is unfortunate. I called the office in the way to an appt and informed them I was stuck in a traffic jam. The front desk girl told me to be there 15 past appt time and I said I would do my best. I got there 20 min past, and she proceeded to lecture me in front of a waiting room if people that I should have been there 20 min prior. Let’s not pretend she knew precisely why I was late. They refused ... read more

I had previously made an appointment for a specific date and time due to my work schedule and when I arrived at the office on my scheduled date, the office staff said that they had no appointment made for me . Now I certainly would not have came if I did not have an appointment. Very disappointed in the office staff-very unreliable !!

I am glad to see that I'm not the only person who thinks the staff is short, rude and confrontational. Many staff members ane short and rude, but the clincher for me was when I was told not to come back to the office by a gray-haired woman who met me outside (I suspect she is Dr. Adler's wife) before my appointment, because she said that I couldn't bring in my service dog because she is not a "seeing eye dog". That is the only type they allow. I chose not to make a big deal about it as I wouldn't go where I am no accepted. I... read more

Business response:

I am Dr. Adler's office Administrator. We actually do allow service dogs and therapy dogs in our office. We don't allow pets in the office. I understand your pet is a treasured family member (I have three!) but we also have other patients to consider and we do follow healthcare guidelines. As far as the staff screening calls, letters, emails, Dr. Adler himself does that. Please feel free to call me directly if you would like to discuss this further. I apologize for any inconvenience.

I have been followed for years for possibly having glaucoma. Dr. Adler did testing ( not every ophthalmologist has the equipment he used) and finally told me that yes I have glaucoma and need to start using eye drops. Its a little scary but I trust him completely. He is very informative and so kind. I also like the technician who sees me before him. Very sweet girl that makes me feel comfortable.

Referred by my doctor as an emergency. They saw me right away. They were very busy but did let me know prior to arriving. The front desk helped me find the office and the technician was very nice and concerned. I loved Dr. Adler. He diagnosed me and sent me to a neuro ophthalmologist and rhematologist. Felling better finally. Would recommend this office to anyone.

I’ve been going to him for 16 years and had LASIK surgery. He is a great eye surgeon and I’ve always liked the staff.

Very nice and efficient doctor. But his front office staff are not helpful and very short with people and rude. They act and tell you all the time how short staffed and busy they are so therefore are not friendly people. Also they have an automated phone system and you leave messages for the billing department and they never return your calls.
