I had an appointment and it was suggested to have a “follow-up” in a couple of months. Then out of the blue, I get a call from a HUMAN to have a blood test done before my appointment “next Tuesday at 3 pm”! (I had NO idea this appointment was scheduled!) Then I get a COMPUTER text message to “confirm, cancel or reschedule” on Saturday AND Sunday AND Monday! (I had already confirmed with a HUMAN the week before!)
I’m writing this review from the perspective of someone accompanying a patient to their appointment. Due to a snow storm and terrible driving conditions, we arrived ten minutes late to an appointment scheduled for 3:30pm. Despite this setback, the receptionist checked my partner in & he was prompted to take a seat and wait to be called into an exam room. First appointment yesterday and extremely satisfied with this practice. My Provider ensured they took their time, so I understood my test results and options of care for my diagnosis. Very caring and professional approach from everyone I interacted with.
I have gone to numerous Urologist, and hands down Dr Cooper and his team are the BEST! I have numerous kidney issues and when ever I call or leave a message in my portal they call me back within an hour. Dr. Cooper even admitted me to the hospital for a blocked kidney and came in on a SUNDAY to do the surgery when he could’ve easily waited until Monday! GFH has the best Urology team!
