I’m only a medium popcorn fan at best, but this is 150% my favorite shop in all the north country by a mile ! It smells so delicious inside. The vibe decorations are fun and playful. The specialty popcorns are insanely delicious. I love the moose tracks and Adirondack Jack. The employees are all ways welcoming fun knowledgeable and helpful. Every time I come to placid I must go here !

Holy butter and cheese popcorn man. Cool souvenirs and all kinds of cool stuff are sold here but nothing touches the namesake popcorn. So many different flavors, so many different emotions. Buyer beware your children will eat all this popcorn really quickly leaving you out of pop in and down 20 or 30 bucks. I really love any of these little shops right on Main Street, right where the Olympics were held. Certainly need to come back to this place soon.

Walked in the store and the 3 girls were eating popcorn out of the bin. No one asked if we wanted a sample. No one greeted us. They just stood there eating and chatting. They basically didn't acknowledge that we were there. I love popcorn and would have spent some bank. The owner needs to reevaluate his staff and pay more attention.
