Adib's shop has been cutting my hair for over 20 years. Great shop, great people.
In 2017, I requested a haircut and was refused service when the barber saw my kippah with a Star of David. He said, "Go to the bus stop". At the time I was an adherent of Messianic Judaism, and was in Israel for a soul-searching visit to the Holy Land just a few months prior. The day after the display of severe religious discrimination at Adib's Cut, I destroyed their front door and was brought by the RCMP to Peace Arch Hospital for a psychiatric assessment. Always a great cut and no attitude.
Got an amazing fade, arrived just after opening on a Saturday 9am and still waited behind two people 40mins to be runner up but to be expected I suppose with the level of attention to detail of service. About 4 more people arrived half way through my cut and there was no rush in barbers technique on my cut which I was impressed with. Big thing to note which is the only reason I deducted a star is its CASH ONLY here so come prepared I wasn't there's two banks close by for an atm withdrawal so remember CASH ONLY 28$ men's cut ... read more
