I put myself on the waitlist in 2024 for ADHD WA and was contacted in 2025 to discuss making an appointment. The assessment was first offered to my child, and an appointment was booked. Came for help with my ADHD / ODD son. Was given a teeny bopper counsellor who probably isn’t even a parent. Was not suggesting any of the standard things I hadn’t tried. She suggested ignoring his destructive (our home) and abusive (often physical) behaviour - which for example school won’t tolerate - that equates to expulsion (which we went though in year 1). Signed up (and paid). Thought it was a NFP but seems to actually be a shopfront for businesses. I booked in for coaching. I had one session but needed to re-schedule the second appt. Was told that was no problem, but was then told I had to pay for two sessions because of their policy that any cancellations or rescheduling withing THREE DAYS of the appointment triggered a 100% cancellation fee. Be aware if taking your child here that while they may diagnose your child for $1000 they cannot prescribe medication as they are not qualified. Massive waste of time and money.
