I left the interaction feeling anxious and uninformed. After three days in the hospital, I expected the Chief of Neurology to help clarify my situation. Instead, he counted the minutes he spent with me, refused to repeat explanations, and made me feel embarrassed for asking questions. This experience significantly reduced my confidence in the care I received
Bedside manner and little knows about neurological conditions. Very incompetent
Really disappointed with Dr Kamel, he was so unpleasant to talk, rude and have not manners, at the end he never provide the help my mother needs with the problem that she had, he made my mother to cry giving her not hopes for her cure.
Family was admitted under his care and I was floored with how rude obnoxious and unprofessional he was. He was poorly prepared in regards to the patient’s history, vague in his suggestions, and had the worst bedside manner I’ve ever seen. I’ve had the displeasure of interacting with him on two separate occasions while he worked at two different institutions and his attitude was the same. overall the Care at Northwell was decent (nurses, NAs, PAs) but not because of anything this doctor did
I rarely write reviews but Dr. Adham Kamel is the best. He was so thorough and spent so much timing explaining the results of my studies. He made sure I understood everything and answered all my questions. He is so kind and patient. I am so grateful I found him! The whole office is great as well!
