Earlier this year our dog Rhubarb had root canal therapy at Adelaide Veterinary Dentistry and Oromaxillofacial Services. The procedure went smoothly and we couldn't be happier with the care she received. Dr Hailstone and her team were wonderful throughout. Did a good job on my Dogs teeth I guess but the price it’s ridiculous. To have three teeth out ended up costing us $1100 more than the major eye surgery she had to have done at another specialist one month later. Comparing what we had to pay to the estimate we got 12 months earlier to have extra work done that we didn’t end up doing didn’t even match up
AVDOS are incredible. We were in dire straits when recommended Dr Kirsten, and we are so grateful we were as I hate to think the outcome for our dog if we hadn’t. AVDOS fit us in quickly, and provided us clear options for simple decision making which we appreciate given circumstances. Dr Kirsten is thorough, focussed, experienced and so kind. Please consider for a second opinion before undertaking any dental work elsewhere.
This will be a long one... In July 2024, our 8 week old Boerboel pup was attacked by our senior dog, she suffered multiple skull and jaw fractures which caused irreparable damage and came with an ambiguous prognosis due to her growth rate at that age. We were referred to AVDOS as Kirsten Hailstone was the most qualified vet in the state to assist our pup.
