I had an arthroscope on my left knee, performed by Dr Justin Munt at Calvery Adelaide. The pain from the torn meniscus has gone and to my amassment I have no pain from the procedure. I have not even taken any mild pain relief tablets. I seem to remember from previous arthroscopes I had pain for a few days after. In recovery I saw Justin a few times and on one occasion he personally rang my wife to say I was in recovery, and it would be an hour or so before I could be picked up. Cannot speak more highly of Dr Munt and his team. The stay at Burnside hospital was always going to be special everyone that I interacted with went beyond just helping they gave tips and insights to inhance a quicker recovery, While I hate cold toast the food was exceptional, dietary problems went beyond the call to meet my needs Thankyou to all.
So glad I had my knee replacement done by Dr Baird, have seen photos and heard of some pretty bad outcomes done elsewhere.
I had a tibial plateau fracture and Dr Munt took on the repair necessary at short notice while others had me hanging in pain. I cannot speak highly enough of his professionalism and his work ethic. His PA Leah is a wonderful, helpful person helping above expectations. Thank you doesn't seem enough
