I would just like to tell everyone what a great Doctor this guy is. I was referred to him because I had a history of Hematuria and Proteinuria since I was 20 or so. Many doctors have noticed this but were quick to dismiss it. Dr. Akbar assured me that we would get to the bottom of it and also answered any concerns that I had. He suggested genetic testing because certain genetic traits are more prevalent with black people when it pertained to renal issues. I agreed and had it done.
