This program has been wonderful, it has been very inclusive of all students. I have 2 students who are parts of the STARS program who have been welcomed and embraced within this program at City Honors School. These students are always excited and eager to share what they are doing and look forward to their performances to show off how hard they have been working. Keep up the good work!
Gethsemane Full Gospel Church had the pleasure of showcasing Ade Jembe Fola Dance and Drum at our Black His-Story program last month and they were phenomenal. Kasumu is a wonderful teacher and leader, instilling confidence and nurturing creativity in all participants. The performances are truly amazing!
Excellent teaching, great fun
I take drum classes from Kasumu and he is a gifted teacher. He teaches to each persons level and creates a community atmosphere so all feel included and contributing. His wealth of knowledge is to be noted and sheer joy in sharing it with others is always evident. If you have an opportunity to take a class, DO!
