DO NOT WORK WITH ADDUS if you get a say in it. I honestly wish I could give zero stars, but unfortunately, Google doesn't allow that. I don't recommend Addus to ANYONE, no matter how bad things are or how desperate you are. Unfortunately, we were forced to work with them as foster parents. The employee they gave us to handle the transportation/supervision for the visits was phenomenal. Very kind, great at communicating, compassionate, etc. (Edna, YOU ROCK). I don't recommend addus at all. I only used them for a short time and my daughter comes and helps with my adult disabled son. The case worker came one time and she called swan saying we abuse my son because he's in a leg cast. He had surgery on his heal. We quit that company soon as it happened. The lady was a snob from addus. She needs to lose her job.
My husband uses addus, we got the approval through V.A. as he is a disabled veteran. His, aid is amazing! I have nothing bad to say about his aid. However, management is very difficult to work with. They like to change times, without notice. We schedule all my husband's doctors appt around his aid, and when addus changes the times without notice it makes things very difficult. Management doesn't have the respect to call there clients to let them know, or even to ask if it's okay to change the schedule, or to even return call... read more
