The staff is very kind and professional, and were invaluable in answering the family’s questions. They go above and beyond in helping with the residents’ daily living needs. My aunt was at Addie’s Acres for one year and called it “home”. For her, being at Addie’s Acres was the best year of her life-as she was not living alone, she had friends to talk to, and caring staff to help with her needs. I highly recommend Addie’s Acres.
They were available to take our loved one on short notice, and for that we were grateful. They made it quick and easy. However, it’s important to note that this facility is not designed nor capable of handling individuals with moderate to advanced Alzheimer’s/ dementia. It is not a locked facility and they aren’t equipped for the care needed. They are also understaffed.
