I loved this place for the care that I received here. The only thing that they could improve on is making the stay longer than 28 days. It just isn’t enough. Also, there needs to be more options for after-care. We need more 2nd stage housing for after completion of this program. Also, the food at the Portage Ave. location is amazing. The cooks are the best and cater to specific dietary needs.
Meeting with Paul has been incredibly helpful and truly makes a positive impact on people. I also want to recognize the little things — like the coffee and tea station (Higgins & Burke!), which is honestly fancy and really good. These small touches may seem minor, but they mean a lot to the people being served. Coming from Ukraine, I can say with confidence — the level of service here is outstanding.
