Stumbled on this beautiful spot! The garden caretaker was great to talk to and has kept the garden up amazingly. Trails wind through the gardens as well as the woods on the property.
Het is een prachtige tuin met veel bijzondere plekjes, daarachter zijn ook trails. Bezoek in de middag wordt aangeraden, hopelijk slapen de muggen dan. In mei /juni mogelijk veel muggen ivm jaargetij, hebben we in Zeewolde/Netherlands ook jaarlijks in bossen en nabij water.
Cute place with lots of turtles and amazing flowers. The owner is very kind. Don't forget to use the insect repellent at the entrance if you don't want too many mosquitoes around you. But don't forget you are around water and surrounded by trees, so, they're will be mosquitoes (it's just normal).
Small, out of the way garden set in a wooded area. Saw lots of beautiful flowers and the drive across the island was very enjoyable. Obviously exactly which flowers are out or at peak will vary on the time of your visit. For the reviewers whining about the mosquitoes, guess what, you’re in the woods! There was a can of repellent at the unattended entry. But if you have any sense simply wear a long sleeved shirt and a head net and you’ll never be bothered.
