I felt really uncomfortable staying here, the rooms felt dirty and had a strange smell. I would recommend staying here
Well priced, rooms need abit of update. Very disappointed gym closed and no offer for alternative leisure, given this is a significant thing for long term and business travellers. Without a gym or modernisatio, would struggle to justify further stay.
Reception was documented open to 7pm, we arrived just after 5pm and could not get in as everything was locked and closed. The rooms are dank and dirty, including black mould in the shower. The heating system didn’t work in the room. The gym was closed. The phone in the room didn’t work. One night the front doors were stuck open and there was no one onsite to help, and no one answered the phone numbers provided. The light in the exterior street sign was half functioning and flickering all the time.
Travellers looking to book during events BEWARE!! Adara Richmond has a terrible pattern of cancelling bookings right before peak periods, often hiding behind vague excuses like "operational/technical issue.” Read the reviews. This isn’t a one-off. DON'T BOOK THIS PLACE! I BOOKED WITH THEM A FEW MONTHS PRIOR TO STAY HERE IN MAY AND ALL WAS CONFIRMED. THEN NOW, THEY HAVE CANCELLED MY BOOKING A WEEK BEFORE WE GO. AS WELL AS NOW ADVERTISING IT FOR ALMOST DOUBLE WHAT WE PAID.
