Fantastic local gym. Great community and a really strong emphasis on mobility and injury prevention.
We are a family that moves every few years so I have been a member of many CrossFit gyms around the country and overseas. Since moving here I have checked out a few different gyms in the area and Adaptation has won me over! The first day the owner, Amy, greeted me and showed me around. I go to CrossFit teens at this gym. The environment is very welcoming and the community it’s so friendly. I would recommend signing you or your kid up for classes, kid classes, or teen classes.
While this gym may be a great fit for elite, high-level athletes, our experience was that it is highly exclusionary, unwelcoming to others, and expensive. Demographic and Community Mismatch ___________________ The owner (Amy) came right out and said that most of their gym is comprised of single or newly wed professionals that don’t have kids (early to mid twenties).
