Whew, shop tried to charge a customer $700 for a 30 minute alternator job, she was parked in the PLAZA so a mechanic was called to fix the alternator he threatened the mechanic and told him if he didn’t leave he would call the police and that he owned the lot, if he does this wasn’t known, then continues to tell the lady she has to pay $130 for being on his lot, i thought shops offered help not schemes
I just paid $600 for Adam’s to replace all 4 breaks and 2 rotors. I bought the breaks and rotors myself from O’reilly’s with a family members mechanic discount, so he charged $600 for the labor. My uncle a retired mechanic told me after inspecting my rotors and breaks that they were completely warped and that’s why they were scraping metal to metal that you could hear extremely loud before I got any work done.
