It was a hot day, headed out to pool. A bit crowded. What was unpleasant is that my son went to grab a diving board from a cubbie where other kids were clearly grabbing them. The lifeguard told him he was not allowed and that he had to put it back. Shortly , another kid around my sons age, went to grab one and the lifeguard clearly saw him and said nothing to him. I really don't want to assume it's because we are Hispanic and the other kids weren't. I can see no other explanation to the lifeguards reasoning. It is very upset... read more
