I'm literally sitting at the bar after finishing my meal and I had to write this. I came to Sacramento for a music festival and found this place on Google. Looked good enough but I got here and I think this could be my last meal on Earth. Specifically the ravioli with pesto and Calabrian chili. I don't like pesto. I LOVE THIS PESTO. It's not bitter at all and everything is balanced. The arancini and fluffy and delicious. The dried tomatoes on the salad were perfect. The gnocchi is soft and chewy and THE TIRAMISU. Just get it... read more

Went to celebrate a friend’s birthday and had mixed results with our choices. Three of us the carbonara and were universally disappointed. It was described as oily and bland. The birthday girl had the bolognese and was happy, I had the meatballs and polenta, which I enjoyed. I would’ve liked less red sauce so I could enjoy the creaminess of the polenta, and the meatballs were spicier than I anticipated, but overall it was tasty. Service was great.

I first want to say I love this place and come here quite often, however I had such a disappointing experience tonight. Since I’ve come here I have gotten their chicken carbonara (sooo goood) and I get it without bacon. When I ordered tonight the hostess said the kitchen won’t remove the bacon. I told her I come here all the time and the bacon has been removed. The owner Adamo has even taken my order without me having bacon. She apologized and said that it depends on who’s the chef is for the evening and he can decide not to... read more

Food was a bit bland. There was a mix up with our order. And the expedition of the salads was awkward. They brought out the same salad twice instead of one Cesar and one harvest as was ordered. The Cesar salad was almost inedible. No flavor. The Harvest salad which I ordered was supposed to have salmon but was forgotten about. They seemed to be short staffed for a Saturday night since all the tables were full and only one server working all the tables and the bar (or so it seemed). It was rather loud and hard to hear at time... read more

I absolutely love the cozy intimate vibe this restaurant gives. The aesthetic is wonderful with all the brick and old photos feels like you're eating at Nona's house. The service was amazing. We went based on a review we saw on social media about the food, but it was disappointing. I was excited to see such a specialized menu so I had high hopes, but it was all very bland. The pasta was heavy and greasy and had no flavor at all, and the risotto was not creamy just seemed like plain rice and lacked flavor as well. Would I com... read more
