I have purchased 2 Harleys from Adamec. Highest praise for the sales staff, parts staff, service staff and mechanics and even the staff in accessories. Always knowledgeable and friendly. The Adamec HD in Orange Park is like a second home to me.
Had my warranty work done there 3 times. All three times they left components undone. Service manager is a joke. You would think after purchasing three bikes from them they would treat you better. Orange Park dealership has serious problems. I finally sold my harley. They ruined a good experience with Harley.
I enrolled for the Adamec Harley sponsored basic rider course May 23-24, 2015 as a beginner rider. Two classes were scheduled for that weekend, and I found delay after delay with the class schedule and resultant inferior range instruction. On both days, range "instruction" ended at about 7 and 8 PM respectively. At the final skills evaluation, about half the class failed. Spent $1,965 to have Adamec work on my 90 Electraglide. Got it back with parts missing & had to argue with them to get them back. Drove it 2 miles home, cut it off in the driveway and tried to restart it. Wouldn't start, so I called them. The service manager got smart with me and said I expected a rebuilt bike for $1,900. Wouldn't even give me time of day in any department, Facebook seemed more important. Once I finally was able to speak to an employee they seemed that my questions were beneath them.
This store has a great selection of product. If you are just passing through, and maybe need raingear, jacket, or just wanna pick up a tee shirt.
Best H-D dealership I have ever dealt with. Employees are friendly, polite and knowledgeable.
I think too often people want to write about the bad experiences they have and rarely the good so here it goes... I had a GREAT experience at Adamec Harley (Baymeadows dealership). I'm a new rider and had a lot of questions which the sales and service staff were able to answer and give suggestions on. I felt welcome and the staff was courteous to me and my husband and made us feel like we had been part of the Harley community for years. I would suggest them to anyone whose in the market to buy or trade in for a new bike.
The sales staff was all about putting me into a bike I did not want. Because they had it in stock. They refused to custom order the Fatboy I wanted. "Take it or leave it." was the phrase the sales manager used. I left it.
