Dr. Van Horn did both my cataracts and I could not be happier! I am seeing clearer and using readers instead of prescription bifocals. He was very informative of what he was going to do and answered any questions I had. He made me feel very relaxed and comfortable. I would recommend him to anyone. The whole experience with Anderson Eye was very good.
Dr Vanhorn spent time diving into my son’s case and was very empathetic. He answered all our questions and explained things in detail. He was open to discussing alternatives and great bedside manner. Great experience and very respectful.
He entered with a dismissive attitude that suggested he already knew what he was going to say. When asking what my wife's symptoms were, she described excessive tearing, discomfort and at time was seeing white circles. He inquired about the white circles and she point to a white spot on her black pants. He then became very berating, to the point of deliberate insult, saying at least 6 times "those are your pants" when it was clear to me she was pointing to the little white spec on her pants. Dr Van Horn performed TWO cataract surgeries for me this past summer. I could not be happier with my results! My vision has improved dramatically. In addition to the cataracts, I also had a macular hole repaired by Dr Ramasamy, and the coordination between the two doctors could not have been more seamless and professional. Dr Van Horn always took the time to ease my fears and answer my questions. I am forever thankful to both doctors and Anderson Eye for enhancing my quality of life moving forward.
