Adams Tailoring is my #1 choice! I love this place! My mom referred them to me and I have gone there ever since. Take in to mind there is only 2 people working there and they have half of Seattle wanting dresses made and alterations done, alterations don't take that long but having a dress made may take you a month. If you allow yourself enough time and call before you go pick up your items you'll be fine. I had a dress made for one of my drill team members white w/sequins and it only cost me $25. seattle bride Adam Tailoring altered my gown for an unbelievably reasonable price and also repaired an old family headpiece. The only reason I'm giving four stars instead of five is because once or twice when I went back my stuff wasn't ready, but it wasn't a huge deal since I left plenty of time before my wedding. If I'd been in more of a time crunch, however, it would've been a problem. Overall I would highly recommend Adam Tailoring -- they're very friendly, inexpensive, and do great work.

not recommended After reading the reviews of this place, I went to get a dress made and gave her a month to do it. After the date that she said it'd be done, I went back and she hadn't started it yet. I went back at least 2 other times for fittings and was not happy with the end quality. They could've at least called to say that the dress wasn't ready by the date they stated instead of wasting my time to go there. I would not recommend this place.

Frustrated Bride I saw the wonderful recommendations from others that used Adam Tailoring, so I took my wedding dress in to do a simple job. 3 hooks in the back to bustle it. I dropped it of on a Monday and was told that it would be done by Thursday. I came back Saturday afternoon and the dress wasn't finished. I came back that next Monday to find that they hadn't even touched it. I had to wait half an hour so they could do a rush job. I'm sorry that I went out of my way to take my dress there!

Expert custom tailoring, especially for ao dai I wholeheartedly recommend Adam Tailor for alterations and custom tailoring. They are really far away from my house now that they are no longer located at 23rd and Union, but I still save up all my pants to bring to them. My husband also brings every single one of his dress shirts to Adam Tailor so they can be brought in on the sides (no more billowing!). We save up all our new purchases and make about four trips a year here. They're not open on Sunday, so it's hard for us to co... read more

Tailored to perfection I brought a satin silk skirt with a side-zipper to Adam Tailor that I needed taken in. Knowing it was a more complicated alteration, I was fully prepared to be told they couldn't do it (which I'd already heard) or that it would look awkward. Although they mentioned the difficulty involved in passing, that was it. And then a few days later I came in to find a skirt that fit perfectly and looked as if it always had.
