Warning to anyone seeking actual psychiatric care: This office operates more like a police interrogation room than a medical practice. The doctor is dismissive of established medical research (like the Ashton Method) and pushes dangerous, rapid tapers that go against patient safety. If you value your neurological health and want a doctor who actually listens to clinical symptoms instead of talking over you, go elsewhere. Extremely unprofessional and scientifically outdated.
Total waste of time and money. The doctor is incredibly defensive and refuses to engage in a collaborative treatment plan. He doesn't seem to understand the basic mechanics of inter-dose withdrawal or the risks associated with the medications he manages. He’d rather argue with a patient than help them. Find a provider who actually stays current with medical literature and treats patients with respect because Dr. smith isn't it..

He dismissed my lived experience with inter-dose withdrawal, ignored my clinical research on the Ashton Method, and supported a rapid, dangerous taper that puts my saf... read more
Demeanor is off putting, super upbeat and flippant but that’s ok, may work for some ppl. Refused to work with me on medication dosage (I wanted less), so ppl having a say in their own health was a hard no, at least in my case. Not sensitive to phobias. He gets 2 stars for knowledge, not for care or bed side manners.
