One of the many good things about Dr. Shaffer, is he’s very good with kids. He’s very patient and he knows how to handle every behavior. He has a more conservative approach than most dentists. He only plans treatments that are necessary. When it comes to cleanliness, he’s your guy! He takes infection control seriously. My favorite thing about him is he takes good care of his patients like his own children, so you’d always feel at ease
Dr. Shaffer is an amazing pediatric dentist. My son has allergies, and Dr. Shaffer makes sure to accommodate every allergy he has by double checking ingredients before proceeding with any procedure. Because of his service and professionalism, we travel 40 miles to his office.
Dr. Shaffer is the best! He is kind and patient with children. I appreciate how he explains everything to my children as he shows them brushing and flossing techniques. He takes the extra time to make sure he does a thorough job while evaluating their teeth as well as making them feel happy and comfortable. They always look forward to coming to the office because they know if they do a good job, they get a prize. I highly recommend Dr. Shaffer for all of your children’s dental needs.
We recently brought our 16 month old daughter to see Dr. Shaffer for her first exam at the dentist. My daughter has just started brushing her teeth, and it is a struggle at home. However, Dr. Shaffer has a gentle way with children, and she allowed him to do a complete dental exam and apply necessary treatments without much resistance! If you want a great dental experience for your child, take them to Dr. Shaffer! Dr. Shaffer is by far the best pediatric dentist around. We actually travel to see him because he is absolutely worth the drive. I bet everyone will wish he was their dentist when they were a kid! His conservative dentistry approach is refreshing and he understands my child is more than just teeth!
