Dr. Wellikoff was my pulmonologist at Wellington Regional. I had to get a change to a prescription for an inhaler after my discharge from the hospital. I called in to the service for Dr. Wellikoff hoping I'd hear back but since I wasn't an office patient I wasn't sure if I would. I got a call from Dr. Wellikoff in probably less than 5 minutes. Dr Wellikoff truly CARES about his patients!! My dad was in one awful hospital for 13 days, he came home for 11 days but when he had to be hospitalized again…I, personally, drove him to JFK where Dr Wellikoff made regular hospital rounds. After each morning visit with my dad…I got an update on the phone from Dr Wellikoff. If I had any issues or concerns…Dr Wellikoff looked into it for us. I would highly recommend Dr Wellikoff as a caring, compassionate pulmonologist to everyone!! Thank you.
