Agreed a date for a 3-day job upfront 3 months in advance. Day he was meant to start he told me he couldn't because his wife was having unexpected massage therapy. I checked with him if he could start the day after, and he confirmed again that he would start. Same morning, he messages me saying his wife wanted to celebrate easter, so we had to reschedule.
