My experience with Dr. Baumgarten is that he’s very personable and explains treatment options in detail so that you feel like you’re part of the decision making process. I would recommend him to anyone and everyone!
He has been my cardiologist for 4-5 years. I’m a retired Professor of Surgery, and Chief of Trauma at Harvard. Not all doctors meet that standard. Dr Baumgarten would easily fit in as a Harvard Professor. His knowledge is top notch. Many people are used to doctors using “paternalism,” when treating a patient.
