I had a root canal retreat by Dr. Harwood a few years ago and it has never felt 100% normal. I called his office today to schedule an appointment to come in for him to check on it and was refused service by his receptionist. She was so rude and accused .me of trying to get a free exam (which is absurd) and kept telling me to go to regular dentist. Dr. H has a great staff. Liz talked me off the ledge before my root canal. She was very warm and reassuring. Told it like it is and really helped me to calm down before the procedure. The root canal was surprisingly quick and painless. NOTE: their building had a flood while the office was closed during the pandemic. They already have one suite completely renovated, with hepa filters and major air conditioning. Felt good to know that the huge hepa filter was taking care of the air in the treatment room.
Beware of human cash registers. *Way* overcharges for impersonal treatment. Go elsewhere.
Came in for a root canal. Was done in an hour with no pain.
Seriously, as far as root canals go, this was truly a pleasure. I highly recommend Dr. Harwood. He and his lovely staff provided excellent care and treatment (and retreatment of an old root canal).
My first root canal, and it was the most painless dental visit I've ever had. Dr Harwood is extremely competent, and his office staff are helpful and efficient. Would strongly recomend.m
I had three root canals done with Dr. Harwood and all three were virtually painless! He made sure I was comfortable the entire time. The front desk and staff are all welcoming, and they make sure you're out in a timely fashion. i'd definitley recommend.

My entire life I've feared getting a root canal. After being recommended to Dr. Harwood by a friend, I knew I would be in good hands. My root canal was significant, but the procedure was painless and other than a little soreness the night of (which quickly went away with some Advil) the next day I was completely free of pain.
