Excellent experience with a broken heel
Meeting Dr. Wagshul, under very difficult times, was the greatest thing that could have happened to me after my injury! He was realistic in setting goals for recovery, he partnered with me to make sure that I recovered, and was with me the entire way. He confidence never waivered, and was an amazing listener as we discussed my progress each month. Dr. Wagshul and his team provided exceptional care and expertise in repairing my Achilles tendon. Dr. Wagshul performed two surgeries for me and EXCELLED. I had a trimalleolar fracture with a syndesmosis ligament tear in 2019. Then, I had a second surgery to remove the hardware (plates and screws). Not only was the surgery very successful with no complications, all the worst case scenarios I was briefed on did not occur. In addition, he did a great job closing the incision leaving minimal scarring. He had even rescheduled my surgery to earlier since the bone was regrowing at an unexpectedly fast rate.
