Nov. 1st surgery has went better than I expected it to. Dr Sassmannshausen explained everything both to me before surgery and to my husband after surgery very thoroughly. Repaired both the bicep tendon and the rotator cuff using three anchors into the bone plus removed a large spur that had acted like a saw and cut those tendons. Both anesthesiologist and surgeon made sure I understood the process and would be expected of me in the coming weeks. Dr. Hanna is very professional, kind and attentive to your needs. The staff at Lutheran hospital where I had my knee replaced was “OUT STANDING!” It was obvious they all love their job and caring for others. They took all the time that was necessary to fulfill the needs I needed at any given time. I would highly recommend Lutheran Campus just from this one time of being a patient there!!! I have been confident in my decision from the start to use Dr. Hanna. My first visit to his office he came in, sat down, and answered all my questions without a rush. My 2 shoulder surgeries (same shoulder) were about 5-6 months apart. Because of an extremely poor therapy rehab center, the shoulder did not properly increase in strength and stability, thus the reason I tore it again. Dr. Sass is an INCREDIBLE surgeon! I've had many surgeries (because I work hard and play hard) and he is in the top three! Dr. Kolettis did both of my husband's knee replacement when Dr. Manalo refused bc of my weight. Very skilled, thoughtful, and followed up in the evening after he had been released. After the second surgery he came in on a Sunday to check on him and made sure his care was outstanding. Joe is very good also, as is his entire treatment staff!
I have now had carpal tunnel release surgery on both my wrists and could not be happier with my experience. Dr Hall was very quick and easy to schedule with, and also easy to communicate with. I feel like he was realistic with me and made me feel very confident with each procedure.
I have used Dr Sass on multiple occasions and have had an excellent experience each time. He tells you what to expect and that is exactly what happens. The care from all caregivers at the surgery center is exceptional. The office also worked with me on my insurance as there was confusion regarding coverage. They went the extra mile trying to get that figured out. I have recommended Dr Sass and will continue to do so.
