Dr. Adam DeVore is amazing. When other cardiologists said I wouldn't get a heart Dr. DeVore told me he would get me one, and he did. I'm alive today thanks to Dr. Devore, one of my two favorite doctors. When you have a heart transplant at Duke you truly become a family member, if I had to do it all over again i wouldn't hesitate to call Dr. DeVore, a great cardiologist and an even better man.
He’s not just a brilliant cardiologist—he’s incredibly compassionate, too. You can tell he genuinely cares about his patients and takes the time to understand their needs from every angle. When he evaluates a case, he doesn’t just look at numbers or symptoms—he sees the whole person. His intelligence is clear, but it’s his empathy and thoughtfulness that really set him apart. If it wasn't for Dr. Adam DeVore and several others at Duke University Medical Center, my husband would not be here today. We did not have one doctor that we disliked at Duke. We loved all of them. They are all very personable, have a wonderful bedside manner, treat you as an individual person, and these doctors absolutely DO NOT mess around! When they stepped in the room, we knew my husband was receiving the best care possible! They mean the world to us and we do not hesitate to recommend them to everyone.
