ACL Surgery - great surgeon I tore my ACL and chose Dr. Bernstein to do my surgery. I chose the "gold standard" and went with the patellar tendon acl reconstruction. I had surgery less than two weeks ago and I am walking w/out crutches already (with knee brace on though.) Dr. Bernstein has been great the entire process. Since first meeting him to surgery and post-opp. He has kept me informed off all the good/bad that comes with acl surgery and what I can expect. Wonderful I fell down a flight of stairs and had a hairline fracture in my foot. The hospital told me to go to an orthopaedic for a follow up. My doctor sent me to this doctor. I got an appointment immediately. When I got to the office, they told me that they had called my house and left a message to change my appointment, needless to say, I was very disappointed because it took me forever to get out of the car and make my way into the office.
