I went to Martin because I have been having awful insomnia for weeks. I was skeptical but hopeful. In our discussion before treatment, I put it out there. He asked and I answered. He helped me realize my struggle with weight loss and eating habits (small things…not bad eating but timing etc). He provided some amazing and helpful tips. As an update to a previous review. After receiving accupuncture treatments for a short time, I was out of town for a month. Dreading the return of pain, I was happily surprised that I had no to minimal pain during the entire month. I will continue maintenance treatments since my condition is chronic, but I can wholeheartedly say that accupuncture with Martin has been successful for me. I am grateful that I chose this path rather than that of another med.
Since I remember I was suffering from anxiety and it was hard for me to relax. After few visits with Dr. Martin I noticed a huge difference in stress levels. Additionally I was able to get treatment to boost my fertility as well and I am happy to say I am 7 months pregnant with my first baby! Overall I love this place for its professional approach, wide variety of expertise and natural help you can obtain. Will be coming back 100%.
When I started feeling pain in my upper back I started looking into alternative solutions to deal with it. I got few acupuncture sessions from Martin and my pain got relieved instantly. Dr. Martin had very professional approach- he explains everything very patiently and clearly. Highly recommend! Martin at Ad Orientem is a master at his craft. I contacted Ad Orientum after I had a sports injury that was very painful. Martin listened to my concerns & began treatment. After treatment I noticed a drastic improvement. The next morning I woke up without pain for the first time since the injury. I am truly thankful for the work he does & recommend his services to everyone I know!
