I will gladly change this review if things change, but after 15 days with no response, I think that is unlikely, as it is similar to other 1 star reviews. The short version of this complaint is that I bought their top of the line Megatrol Rainproof 230V 60Amp spa control unit and top of the line Titanium heater online from this company, but after installation by a licensed electrician, it doesn't work at all and appears to be miswired compared to the wiring diagrams on their website. I recently bought a Pump, Spa side Computer , and The main Computer, with heater, Which I installed in my Hot tube (Jan. 22,2020) and installed these items. I had a difficult time getting everything up and running, I called Joe at Acura Spa Systems and Joe stayed on the phone with me to diagnose the problem, He did not leave me until "We" got the unit up and running. Joe helped me pick out the products that I needed over the phone and was extremely helpful and informative! He took the time to explain everything to me in detail and I really appreciate that! Technical support people usually act like they can't wait for the conversation to be over, but Joe was on the phone with me for about an hour. I upgraded my hot tub a few months ago and since then my electricity bill has been cheaper! I couldn't be happier.
It is not easy to replace a spa control. I tried calling many places and the best professional help was offered at Acura Spa Systems. All my answers were answered in a professional matter. The knowledge and experience of the designing engineer was outstanding. The quality of the control is excellent. I recommend Acura Spa Systems as the best spa replacement place. Made in the USA superior quality.
The very worst customer service experience of my life! Their website changed my posted order? Really? I asked by email to discuss it with their sales team. The owner contacted and he allegedly "corrected" it! He corrected it alright. I got and updated bill from $279 to $343 just to change the discharge direction! The new quote stated to contact and approve the change in price. I contacted them by email and told them that I needed an explanation of the change. Defective part We returned defective part # PM 5010 for replacement in jan of 2013. You can track this return on usps tracking # 70111570000277289487. Acura spas ignores our request for replacement part or a refund of our purchase price of approximately $275.00 looks like there is another review with similar problem.
