As I booked an appointment(Sept 26, 2024) I was surprised that it took them over three hours to diagnose an alternator issue. Sherway Acura alternator replacement quote to be done in three days is $1214(taxes included) which sounded a bit overpriced for my old Acura TSX. So I found and ordered replacement alternator online and it took me one! hour to do the job against of 2.5 hours Sherway Acura quote. My total expenses are less than $250(taxes included) with no previous alternator replacement experience.
