My 2010 Acura MDX has a serious oil consumption issues that Acura of Brooklyn has been unable and unwilling to fix. When I called Acura Corp customer relations and spoke with Kyle Green I was told that it is acceptable for Acura cars to lose 1 quart of oil per 1,000 miles. So therefore if you drive 4,000 miles and your car has no oil left????? that is normal???? The answer Acuras gives me is that the policy is that you can lose 1 quart of oil per 1,000 miles.
