During a multipoint inspection for my 2019 Acura MDX, Acura of Baton Rouge informed me that the front struts needed replacement. They completed the repair on March 5th. However, just two months later, during a routine oil change at Pohanka Acura, the technicians discovered both outboard axle boots were leaking grease extensively under the vehicle. Customers please take it upon yourself to research the price of parts/services, especially when the prices sound excessive. I brought my vehicle to Acura to have the parking brake checked and was told the part itself would be $3,500 and that the service total would be close to $4,200. I brought my car there for a diagnostic test after going to two other auto shops that did work on my car. I was charged close to $400 to get my car out. According to them, the person working on my car spent all day trying to diagnose the issue, which is the reason for the payment but I only intended to pay for the service I scheduled and was not notified of them having to do further work on my car than my scheduled service.
