Zhiheng Li graduated from Beijing University of Traditional Chinese Medicine. He practiced and taught chinese medicine in Inner Mongolia Medical University for 9 years before coming to Canada. In 1995, he was invited to lecture at the Third World Medical Congress of Acupuncture and Natural Medicine in Edmonton. He started practicing acupuncture in Saskatoon in 1995, and opened his own clinic in 1997.
