All started ok until billing. The acupuncturist told me he was in network with UHC, though was unsure if part of “my specific plan”. I had to pay $160 upfront and was told most of the amount could be refunded when insurance was billed. Christopher at Acupuncture Center of Portland is an exceptional acupuncturist. Over the past decade, he's consistently provided outstanding care. Whether I needed help recovering from a minor injury or navigating a more significant health challenge, his expertise and compassionate approach have been invaluable.

Christopher was able to treat a severely pinched nerve that was creating sciatica-like symptoms that included shooting pain and persistent aches that made sleeping through the night impossible. After one treatment I was able to sleep through the night again and the pain was almost completely gone by the next day. I had a similar issue several years ago and could not get any relief despite working with my GP, physiotherapist, and massage therapist. I wish I had known of Christopher the first time I had issues.

Practitioners are easy to talk to and the staff is accommodating. Love getting an Acupuncture Session followed by a massage, all in the same place. Paul and Daniel have treated myself and my husband with stiff backs, locked up and tense necks, even my hips being offset. They even take our health insurance. 100% Recommend this clinic
