This was one of my favorite places when I lived in the area. Now I make sure to visit whenever I come back to town.
7 picnic tables near parking for a quick stop for lunch. Trail has a lot of benches along the way if you need a break, although it's only 1.5 miles long. Various flowers and butteflies along the way, a bog with frogs. 1st visit here and I've worked grew up not to far from here. Hidden jem! Currently water is shut off so bring your own water.
Acton Arboretum is a great place to go for a walk, sit on a bench to read or observe nature, play Frisbee on the green lawn, or see some beautiful plants, flowers, or herbs. I consider the Arboretum one of Acton's treasures that is developed and nurtured by a committed group of volunteers. Parts are handicapped accessible with plans to expand that aspect.
Beautiful place to walk all year long. Our walk today was lovely. Very nice in warmer weather for a picnic. The parking lot is great. Thanks for a wonderful place.
