Our teams focus on Security Systems, Fire Alarm installation, Service, Monitoring, Door Control Systems (Card Access), and Cameras. We are a local family-owned business, although some of our clients have asked us to install and service systems in many different areas around the United States.

We have used Active Security since moving here in 2016 and could not be happier or recommend them more highly. In addition to changing over our system from one under another major brand security company, they saved us money and ensured that everything worked perfectly. We have had Active Security for years now. The system we have at our concrete facility is older now (Honeywell), but has not let us down! We then had a system in our condo which consisted of a front door, front windows, a rear sliding door and motion detection system in the master bedroom and living room. These systems are easy to use. Active Security has always been very quick to respond / call us whenever our alarm was activated, which was usually our own fault, as my husband often could not hear the alarm due to severe hearing loss. This has occurred more times than we care to admit but they have never not once missed or delayed their call back responses, or made us feel the least bit offended, thus, reassuring us that Active Security will always “have/protect our backs”. Called them with a large project and they seemed very professional. It took a couple of months to get the project ready, so I thought I'd drop by their office to discuss. The woman behind at their location challenged me and then all but ran me off by shutting the door on me. And that's was just for saying I had talked with a gentleman about setting up security cameras. I tried reaching back out to the gentleman I had talked to originally, but no response. So I had a problem with my motion sensor "batteries they where old and they had leaked and had corrosion." I was not sure how to fix it? I called Maria Monday morning and she was so helpful and I removed this unit and drove directly to the office. Maria, Carrie and Rosemary helped me correct the issue. Carrie opened up the sensor cleaned the inside and placed new batteries in it for me. They also directed me too go to Batteries and Plus to buy a new battery for the Panel box.
