We used Ollie for a job after my brother recommending him. Quotes were sent via WhatsApp which should have been the 1st red flag. Due to the connection with Ollie and my brother we didn’t have any reason initially to be suspicious. Since the work was completed Ollie hasn’t sent us the EICR certificate, Ollie either ignores messages or fobs me off with excuses as to why it’s not been sent. We have been using Active Response for many years for loft conversions, extensions, kitchens and many other projects both domestic and commercial. Ollie and his team are always at hand and stick to all schedules making the projects run on time. The work carried out is always to the highest of standards and more often than not they go the extra mile. I can honestly recommend Active Response and trust the experience and knowledge of the team to be able to deal with any project given.
Absolutely abysmal. Fitted an electric mirror - at an angle. Re-wired 2 sockets - one back to front and one upside down. Left pieces of wire and screws all over the carpet and floors. Used my wife’s dressing gown and towel as a wedge between taps and the mirror. Dumped what little of the rubbish they did pick up in the garage. Gave Oliver an opportunity to come back and fix their repairs and he ignored my texts.
