Whenever I am in Boulder I can't resist visiting active88. The result: 3 pairs of these fabulous shoes! I travel a lot so I need light travel equipment. I wear these shoes wherever I am whatever I do: hiking, workout in the gym, shopping. I am sure next time being in Boulder another pair ist waiting for me. Back in the 1990's I had a horrible pain in my right foot. I went to doctors, podiatrists and no one could help. Long story short, I got orthotics made by Active Imprints and very soon my foot was fine. I feel the way Danny makes them, slightly flexible, they are SO much better than the hard plastic ones that Pediatrist doctors make. Great quality and great customer service. They last a long time. This (March 2025) is my third set since around 1993!
I got some custom orthotics because my chiropractor discovered I have ankle pronation. The orthotics from Active Imprints are of great quality and condition, and have helped me immensely. Danny and Jennifer are amazing people, and they are incredibly welcoming and kind, and truly care about every one of their customers. It was a genuine pleasure to get my shoes for race day at Active88. The shoes feel and perform great, and are a key component of staying injury-free. Jennifer took the time to understand my needs, and got me in to the correct model. Both Danny and Jennifer were happy to talk with me about some form adjustments and drills, and I can't wait to come back to get my next pair of shoes.
